At Manibus Massage Practice we strive for a safe and pleasant experience for all our customers. These Terms and Conditions have been drawn up to provide clarity about our procedures and expectations. By making an appointment, the customer agrees to these conditions.
- Intake and Treatment Plan :
During the first treatment, the practitioner asks a few questions to inventory any complaints and, if necessary, to draw up a treatment plan. An evaluation takes place before and after each session. - Confidentiality :
All information provided will be treated confidentially and will not be shared without permission. - Medical Situation :
Customers should consult the practitioner if they are undergoing treatment or taking medication to verify whether massage is appropriate. It is the customer's responsibility to report illnesses, injuries and medication use. We are not liable for the consequences of withholding information. - No Medical Claims :
We do not make medical diagnoses and do not recommend stopping regular treatments. Our treatments are based on massage techniques without a medical purpose and are not a substitute for regular medical care. - Insurance information :
The treatments are not eligible for insurance. - Massage oils :
Oils are used in the massage, included in the price. - Hygiene and Safety Measures :
Showering before treatment is recommended. Erotic massages are not part of our offer, and questions about this are not appreciated. Each treatment room is cleaned after use, with fresh towels and disinfected equipment. Face masks are used for some treatments. We reserve the right to refuse clients. - Customer Responsibility :
Customers must provide accurate information for safe handling. - Liability :
We do our best to provide a safe and effective treatment, but we cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur before, during or after the treatment. - Personal Belongings :
We are not responsible for damage, theft or loss of personal belongings. - Privacy and Personal Data :
We collect contact details for administrative purposes and apply the applicable privacy legislation. Customers have the right to view, correct or have their data deleted. See our privacy statement on the website. - Deposit :
A 50% deposit is required to avoid no-shows. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the treatment. - Cancellations :
Appointments can be canceled free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. For cancellations within 24 hours, we are forced to charge 50% of the costs of the treatment, regardless of the reason. In case of force majeure we will try to reschedule the appointment. - Refund of Online Deposits :
A timely cancellation of an appointment for which an online deposit has been made does not automatically lead to a refund. Customers must submit their refund request. Mollie usually takes 5 to 7 working days to process refunds. - Contraindications :
In case of fever, flu, infectious diseases, cancer, contagious skin conditions, severe pain, poor general health or pregnancy shorter than 17 weeks, no massage will be given. - Rates :
We reserve the right to change rates. For appointments already made, the rate at the time of the appointment applies. - Payment :
Payment must be made in cash or by card immediately after the treatment. - Gift vouchers :
Gift vouchers are available both online and in practice and cannot be exchanged for cash. They are valid for one year after issue. No refund is possible if the amount of the gift voucher is higher than the value of the massages or other services/products purchased. - Strip cards :
Strip cards are available in our practice. These are valid for one year. Unused strips will not be refunded. - Feedback and Communication :
After each treatment, the customer automatically receives a feedback request. Customers may request that their feedback be withheld from publication. Customers automatically receive a confirmation of their appointment with options to cancel or reschedule. Communication can also take place via WhatsApp. - Sustainability and Environment :
We only use environmentally friendly products. - Change of Practitioner Policy :
The customer will be informed if the practitioner is ill and asked whether he or she agrees to another practitioner carrying out the treatment. The customer has the right to refuse, after which a new appointment will be scheduled or the appointment will be canceled free of charge. - Late Coming Policy :
If a client arrives more than 10 minutes late, the treatment will be shortened if there is not enough time after the scheduled treatment. The full price of the booked treatment will be charged regardless of duration. If the customer is significantly late (e.g. more than 20 minutes), the appointment will be rescheduled with associated costs of €15 for existing customers. For new customers, the 50% deposit will be retained. - Practice Cancellations Policy :
In the event of staff illness or other unforeseen circumstances, clients will be notified as soon as possible and asked what they wish to do with the appointment. - Accessibility :
Our practice is wheelchair friendly. - Rules of Conduct for Customers :
We ask our customers to behave respectfully and kindly towards our staff and other customers. Offensive or disruptive behavior may lead to denial of further services. - Health declaration :
Customers are asked to complete a health declaration when making an appointment. This helps us to ensure safe and effective treatment. - Changes to the Terms :
We reserve the right to change these terms. Customers will be notified of important changes via email or during their next appointment.
